Music

4) What can you tell us about this mix…What was its inspiration?

I picked a few tracks I wanted to put in and kind of joined the dots between them by picking tracks on the fly, which I find usually gets the most interesting results. It’s slow but hopefully moving

5) Which track in the mix is your favourite right now?

My favourite track right now is probably I Won’t Bite by Richenel

6) What is your favourite track of the last 12 months?

Probably When I Get it Right by Pussy Mothers

7) What is the last record you bought?

Strange Culture – Sublimed EP

8) Who or what are your biggest musical influences?

Kraftwerk, Cerrone, Suicide, Giorgio Morodor

9) Do you have a ritual before you start playing or straight after?

We don’t actually, other than hastily writing down the set list just before we go on

10) Who is your favourite DJ? Not including yourself 😉

Probably Andrew Weatherall

11) Tell us about one or more DJ’s / Producer’s we may not know but should be looking out for?

Sordid Sound System has three amazing EPs out on Glasgow Label Invisible Inc

12) Due to developments in technology and software, there is so much which can be done to change a track to the tiniest detail, how much do you use this in your sets? Can too much technology be a bad thing?

Its easy to hide behind technology, I think the bravest thing these days is keeping it simple, however only simplify once you understand all the possibilities!

Quickfire
