We’re headed back to where it all started with a new release from Monaco_band001 – the duo behind the Claptrap label and ‘Business’ the first claptrap 12” back in 2017. You may know them better as Dr Valentines & Vanity Project, but the duo have teamed up to bring you a brand new release featuring ‘Petit Prix’, an OG cut from the archives and 3 remixes – all perfect for those upcoming open air sets! The original mix is a downtempo rolling sleepy summer tune, recorded live to 2-track back in 2021, followed up by a pumped up breezy house mix by Dr Valentines. Vanity Project then brings a darker chuggy feel to the release with an acid & vocoder laced ‘Champion Dub’ before we round off with one final mix – Dr Valentines returns for the stripped back Formula 101 mix, a minimal and direct take to see us out.
