ABOUT

1) Introduce yourself?

I’m just a 30 years old guy who just got into the music industry 4 years ago and couldn’t be happier about this decision.

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months?

Being called to Dubai to close the night after a great musician such as Viken Arman was one of my biggest achievements last winter.

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year?

I’ve been focusing a lot recently on music production, sitting long time in the studio trying to experiment and come up with something new/different and not to just add another track to people’s library. Meanwhile a couple of older projects will be released on Monada Project and Sinchi.

MUSIC

4) Which track in the mix is your favourite right now?

Other then my original track Bowing Pill (Coming soon on Sinchi), I really like Interactive Noise – Green Fairy Tales, with it’s slow psychedelic effects.

5) What is your favourite track of the last 12 months?

The biggest part of being a dj is listening to as many different types of music as possible. I’ve been really astonished by the saxophone player Jan Garbarek and  I’m listening to Brother Wind March at the moment. A while ago I  actually edited one of his brilliant tracks, which you can download here

7) Whats your number 1 go to track of all time?

It’s really hard to say there is a lot of nice music out there but i think the winning track goes to: Anton Feine – The Sun

8) Who or what are your biggest musical influences?

It actually comes from different sources, sometimes from a movie, other times from a person with an attitude.

9) Tell us about 3 DJ’s / Producer’s we may not know but should be looking out for?

Well a rising producer that is currently doing well is Anemoia.  THDS are a live act duo and also really like the Persian guys HAFT.

10) What is your favourite Venue or Festival to play at and why?

Ballroom Blitz is a newly opened venue in Beirut, that is expanding the Lebanese music scene by doing things differently. They have 3 versatile rooms featuring different Sub-genres.

PERSONAL

11) Do you have a ritual before you start playing or straight after?

Having a beer ahead of playing is my kind of ritual. It helps me get in the right mood and attitude.

12) What is your favorite bit of kit? (Music production)

I like NHS kontakt instruments and drum kits. I think it’s the best sampler out there at the moment, since they are pretty well recorded and by adding their own groove  makes them less static and versatile.

13) What is your favorite film score?

The dark and classical soundtracks of The Black Swan movie are my favourite at the moment.

14) What is your dream destination?

Ideally the best place for me would consist of nature, music and the sea. So I can’t think of any place better than Tulum.

15) What makes you smile?

Well, it’s kind of obvious…Music
