‘International Waters’ really captures the intensity of the current climate. A year in the making, this compilation comprises of deep, emotional, heavy and sexy dark wave sounds from exciting artists from every corner of the world.
Amongst the many highlights, one of the stand out tracks for us, comes from previous Sinchi collaborator Roe Deers. Here the Lithuanian artists serves up a stylish 6min track that finds a strange juxtaposition between political commentary (in the form of various audio samples) and a chorus line which is both uplifting and made for the dance-floor.
It also comes with a personal handwritten message from the label curator and founder Curses himself…
