Born from a mutual admiration of the groove ethic of 90s house music, Primitive Needs is the collaborative project of Melbourne locals Matt Stringfellow and Jackson Gray. Whilst staying true to their formative influences, the new project channels a natural progression towards late night club ready sounds, aided and abetted by an influx of new hardware and time in isolation. The dj and production duo step up with their debut “Phase Unity” on Oregon based Dance All the Day label.

Featuring 4 originals displaying an array of house & breakbeat fellow Melbournian lads DJ Life, and Escape Artist on remix duties!
