Playground Records starts 2021 with a bang via the Radial Gaze. The duo from Russia making their debut on the label, serve up some frenetic rhythms, acid tribality and strident synthesis. Supported by remixes from Kino Todo and Aristidez.

The title track ‘Oracular Punch’ is full of stabbing percussion that seem to chase the response of some deity. Following a rite with rising voices and dramatic modulations they ask the Pythoness to give an answer to the questions that are sought. Somewhat of an exorcist dance of deep surrender.
