The latest in their catalog of timeless releases since Murat Uncuoglu and Alican launched Isolate in late 2018, the ‘Art Of Duplicity’ EP is another strike for the label who excel in deep, immersive and atmospheric house music. It comes courtesy of Clavis, the collaborative alias of Manuel Tur and Adrian Hoffman.
A bubbling concern since they first joined forces five years ago, Clavis has been boiling over of late with the vital ‘Wirefire’ EP on Freerange. ‘Art Of Duplicity’ follows in hot pursuit… A three-pronged emotional massage of the senses, each cut brings its own unique, introspective feels.
Our pick for today is ‘Anteac’, another crisp composition, this time we’re bathed in nylon string strums, rising chord progressions and beautiful surging pads. Laced with a creeping sense of subtle triumph, once again Tur and Hoffman hit the perfect balance of pure euphoria and subdued introspection. Enjoy.
