RFDC reaches its third release with a statement that perfectly reflects the label’s musical identity. Since its beginnings in Barcelona, Retro Future Disco Club has been building a community around house music in all its forms, connecting soul, disco, acid and contemporary club culture through a shared love of groove.

For RFDC 003, the label welcomes Glasgow’s own Big Miz, a producer and DJ whose catalogue has become a fixture in modern underground house music. Across three original cuts and a remix from Breezy S, the EP captures the different shades of the sound that inspires the collective.

“I Need U” opens with an uplifting, bouncy energy driven by bright keys, infectious rhythms and an unmistakable sense of movement. “Acid Roller” shifts into a more playful territory, riding a fast-moving acid line that balances euphoria and dancefloor momentum. On “Die Yuppie Scum”, the mood turns deeper and more underground, embracing a rawer acid aesthetic while retaining the warmth and musicality that runs throughout the release. Closing the package, Breezy S reinterprets “Acid Roller” through his own club-focused lens, stretching the groove into a longer and more hypnotic journey.

House, disco and acid have always shared the same DNA. On RFDC 003, Big Miz brings them together with the confidence of a seasoned artist whose sound feels equally at home in Glasgow, Amsterdam, Berlin or Barcelona.
