After decades shaping danceoors with slow, psychedelic grooves, Airsine lands on Paisley Dark with Like Fire – a low-slung, hypnotic acid roller roadtested on decelerated danceoors. Like Fire is a love letter to the underground – a tribute to friendships forged in lost spaces, where love burns long after the rigs were packed down. It pulses with deep, rolling basslines, machine-funk rhythms, and anthemic acid lines. Last year, Airsine released his debut EP, Don’t Hardly Know and remixed Paisley Dark’s Ben Hunt and Space Age Freak Out. He held a residency at The Cornish Arms (Glastonbury Festival) as well as hosting pre-parties for David Holmes and ALFOS Afters for BLOCK. Airsine’s roots start in Leeds’ early ‘90s industrial underground scene, where he co-founded the legendary ASYLUM parties before taking them south to Camden’s Underworld. After moving to Brighton, he became immersed in the free party movement, rening a deeper, slower, more psychedelic sound that soundtracked the backrooms of parties across the city.
