After having released their 3d album “Les Pieds Dans La Merde, La Tête Dans Les Etoiles”, Berlin based duo Joy Wellboy are back with a single in  “Here Is Where I Belong”

In their own words “This song is about embracing the present moment. Even if the moment is difficult and you can’t see clearly where you are going, because you are surrounded by darkness. You should always trust your instincts. Take good care of yourself. Stay fit. Focus. Strongly believe in your dreams. Imagination can transform everything. Just go with the flow. Don’t be afraid. There’s no need to fight. Don’t waste your energy with overthinking situations and searching for answers. Just be patient. Walk step by step. It will all explain itself eventually. Surrender to life itself. It’s all part of the plan. Everything happens for a reason. And what’s for you will not pass you by.”

Amsterdam based friend of the band Niels Docter aka. Doctr, who is best known for his italo flavoured releases on labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Music For Dreams and Silhouette Music, was asked to be part of the remixing collective. He has turned the original into a sensual slow disco jam and brings the song into an entire new cosmic world. He manages to slowly build up tension as the song evolves into a theme that might take some listeners beyond the stars.

The remix is the first in a series of 5 remixes which all will be released over the course of the following months on “Sizzer Music”.
