Ritmo Animal lands as the 75th chapter of Playground Records’ main catalogue, with Colombian artist Intruso stepping up for a wild new statement.

Across three original cuts, Intruso takes us on a fierce ride through metallic house, industrial electro and alien breaks, constantly shifting between mechanical grooves, distorted textures and futuristic rhythms. Raw, weird and undeniably dancefloor-focused, Ritmo Animal feels like a collision between machines and something much more instinctive.

As if that wasn’t enough, we invited two old friends of the Playground family to take things even further. Spanish veteran Alvaro Cabana brings a sexy, deep and seductive interpretation, slowing the pulse down without losing its hypnotic grip, while Mexican powerhouse Ludviq delivers a heavy and hazy rework, injecting the original with a thick dose of late-night atmosphere. Five tracks, three different visions and one seriously twisted ride – Ritmo Animal is ready to bite.
