In northern Mexico, where the land stretches endlessly and silence seems to observe, Chihuahua holds secrets that time has failed to explain. A vast territory, laden with enigmas, known among ufologists for the Zone of Silence and the Coyame Case-that terrestrial echo of the Mexican Roswell. From this same land, marked by the inexplicable, emerges one of the projects debuting on the label today.
Ruary, originally from these latitudes, is a sound explorer with a journey that dates back to the early 2000s. His exploration of electronic music has intertwined with other forms of perception such as photography and design, solidifying his place as an essential part of the Temblor/Epicentro crew, a breeding ground for northern talents like Enjanzea2 and Zhino.
This EP manifests as an altered state: psychedelia, mental landscapes, and lysergic atmospheres that unfold leisurely. The rhythms stretch, the measures breathe, and the restless, constant percussion guides us through the journey. Acidic arpeggios and spectral pads float around, creating a space where time dissolves.
As a parallel invocation, Fausto-one of the founders of Nativo-reinterprets Dementia, taking it to a plane of greater tension and energy. His version leans towards peak time, embracing the rawness of rave and the pulse of acid house, without losing the harshness that defines its sound.
Closing the circle, KRLY, a young creator from the port of Mazatlán, takes the same material and projects it into the cosmic. Between techno textures and sharp timbres, her remix is built from the percussive and the hypnotic, weaving a personal interpretation that dialogues with her own sonic universe.
