@Luksek is an Italian dj and producer from Florence. His DJ sets offer a mix of original styles and sounds including italodisco / disco / house. A mix that takes inspiration from the Italy disco and the French touch culture. Luksek is for music without borders, which become an international language.

In his own words…

‘The first time I listened to Jivaro – Saturday Fever (1989), I was surprised how the song was so fresh and original. Jivaro is a South African disco and bubblegum music group. It’s four members were active in the late 1980s. Their album Saturday Night Fever is made up of six nostalgic tracks that perfectly encapsulate the post-boogie/proto-house movement that had taken over the airwaves and clubs across the country at the time.

So my intent was to not disturb the original track but to add a powerful drum, a bass arpeggio and another bass with some slight acid vibes.
